Barbecue Run to Uncle Willie's -- On Thursday, July 10, I am planning a Barbecue Run. I'm going to be at Uncle Willie's at 6:00pm. Uncle Willie's is at 558 Chase Ave in Waterbury. This is off Exit 36 of Route 8.
Follow Huntington Ave. until it turns into Chase Ave. Uncle Willie's is about a mile total distance from the highway. This is a new location from our ride their a few years ago. July 14 - ? (Monday - ???)

The ride to Nova Scotia has been cancelled/changed. We are now going to ride throughout New England, New York, Pa, and South to some undetermined destinations. We will meet at Martin's in Great Barrington (Great Yuppington as a friend refers to it) at 0900 on Monday July 14th for breakfast. We will then ride North on Rt. 7 to Grand Isle and cross via the ferry to Plattsburgh, NY and put in for the night.
The next day we will ride W.S.W. toward the St. Lawrence Seaway and then head basically South to our next evening stay. We will then head toward PA and perhaps, W. VA. Some destinations are undecided at this time. The entire trip will be five to seven days portal to portal. We are flexible and just want to enjoy the ride, so to speak.
On the return trip we want to stop in Centralia, PA and then go on to Stroudsburg, PA and spend the night there. Our preference is Best Western Motels because most of us are registered with them for some kind of points. For those of you who never heard of Centralia, PA, it is the town that has been on fire, under ground, since the sixties and is now basically abandoned but the streets are still there with fire and brimstone emanating from below.
If you want a nice ride with no time constraints or deadlines, this is it.
